A LUNCHEON LADDER FEATURING FORMER GLOBELEQ CEO BOB HART

Presented Exclusively for Magellan Society Members

Robert Hart was the CEO and Founding Partner of Globeleq, an operating power company solely focused on the emerging markets in Africa, Asia and Latin America. Prior to that, he founded Hart Energy International, an international power company that invested in Latin America. From 1994 to 1999, Hart was President and CEO of Coastal Power Company where he oversaw a ten-fold increase in earnings. Hart holds an AB degree, magna cum laude, from Harvard University. He is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations, he is on the board of the Catholic Foundation of the Diocese of St. Augustine, and serves as Chairman of the Diocesan Justice and Peace Commission. He also serves on the board of Ability Housing, a non-profit corporation that owns and operates permanent housing for the homeless of Jacksonville.

Space is limited and reservations will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Each attendee will pay individually for his or her meal.


The Luncheon Ladder series is a benefit for the Magellan Society. Magellan Society members join with individuals from the Council’s Board, Advisory Board and other local community leaders to promote dialogue on interesting issues of the day and foster professional development. The Luncheon Ladders are hosted monthly.
